Brandcast is a series of events put on by YouTube to encourage investment in advertising. The events included presentations by various employees and clients, performances, networking and examples of new Google based technology.

My team’s role was to prepare the presentations for these events. Particularly for the plenary sessions and key breakouts. We would bring the speaker’s content to life with graphics, animations, images and typography in the style of the event.

This started in the office but later in the project we would travel to the event and finish off the presentations on site to provide any last minute assistance.

At the Tokyo based event we used motion graphics to design and build the presentation. Below is an example of the transitions and design we used, each of the pauses in the below video are the traditional ‘slides’ of the presentation.
